The ProTop™





The ProTop™ is an innovative product designed to protect your investment in wood poles by shielding the top of the pole from environmental degradation due to moisture, bird roosting, and temperature changes.





For many years, the industry focus has been on ground line protection at the base of the pole. Now equal protection for the top of the pole, which supports the mounting platform and all the working hardware, is provided by the ProTop™. The ProTop™ protects the pole top from environmental and external damage after installation and can add years of useful life to a wood pole.
How the ProTop™ Works:

 The gently curved shape of the ProTop™ will allow rain and snow to flow harmlessly off the pole top, eliminating the moisture change extremes that contribute to checking as the wood expands and contracts. This design will virtually eliminate freezing/thawing cycles at the pole top, while permitting the free flow of air over the end grain surface.

The engineered structure will also eliminate bird roosting and accumulation of foreign matter that is the major source of rot formation in end grain wood.

Molded from black ABS plastic, the ProTop™ will provide UV protection for the pole top and resist most hazards.
