SCOPE OF SUPPLY
ST18 Electric Generation Package
Prices are quoted in 2001 US Dollars. $1,100,000.00
Basic Scope of Supply:
The following is noted as part of our offer:
1. Unit(s) are subject to prior sale. Gas turbine deliveries typically require a six month lead time after receipt of order or a limited notice to proceed. All unit deliveries are subject to further negotiation.
2. Unit(s) are quoted F.O.B. point of manufacture.
3. Offer is valid for 30 days from date of proposal.
4. All taxes, bonds, customs, duties, etc. are excluded from our quotation.
5. Equipment is warranted for a period of one (1) year from the date of start-up, or eighteen (18) months from the date of shipment, whichever occurs first.
6. Unit(s) are string-tested prior to shipment.
7. Customer Training and Technical Services during installation/commissioning are not included. Service(s) may be purchased at a per diem rate.
Basic Scope of Supply
The standard scope of supply for the ST18 Electric Generation Package comprises the following major equipment assemblies and services:
ONE ST18 ELECTRIC GENERATION PACKAGE including:
§ Pratt & Whitney Canada ST18 Industrial Gas Turbine equipped for natural gas fuel operation without water injection capability for NOx suppression
§ Reduction Gearbox and Coupling
§ Electric Generator – Direct Air Cooled, 60 Hz (see data sheet under: Estimated Performance) including:
- Exciter
- Neutral Grounding Resistor
- Terminal Box
a) Generator Differential Relay Protection CT’s
b) AVR CT (shipped loose for Customer installation)
c) Surge Arrestor Package (shipped loose for installation by Customer)
- Space Heater
- Nine Stator RTD’s (three per phase)
- Vibration Monitoring
- Bearing Drain Site Glasses
§ Lubrication Oil System for Gas Turbine, Gearbox and Generator
§ AC Motor Starting System
§ Inlet Filtration Air System and Silencer (Barrier Type Filters)
§ Gas Turbine/Generator Enclosure with Acoustic Protection
§ Fire Detection/Protection System for Gas Turbine/Generator Enclosure including:
- Main CO2 storage cylinders
- Detectors
- Control panel
§ Turbine Control System
§ AVR/synchronizing Panel
§ Finish painting of Gas Turbine/Generator package prior to shipment to Customer.

The following options for equipment and services can be offered and are not included as part of the standard scope of supply as described in the preceding sections.

The following performance data is presented for planning purposes to show estimated
simple cycle performance of the ST18 Electric Generation Package. An estimate is also
provided to show the amount of steam that can be typically produced for cogeneration
applications.
