General Electric, 3600 RPM, 12 stage, single automatic extraction, non-condensing, impulse steam turbine rated 12.5 MW. The turbine is designed for normal inlet throttle steam conditions of 550 psig and 725 degrees F steam temperature. The maximum steam flow to the governor valves is 403,000 lbs/hr. The turbine is divided into two sections: the High pressure (HP) and the Low Pressure (LP) sections. It also has two controlled extractions points. The first controlled extraction point supplies steam to the 300 psig steam distribution system with a range of 0 lbs./hr - 157,000 lbs/hr. The second controlled extraction point supplies steam to the 50 psig steam distribution system with a range of 0 lbs/hr - 246,000 lbs/hr. Year installed 1960.
