We currently have 2 complete Westinghouse W101G Gas
Turbine-Generator sets, with steam driven starter/booster
turbines. Both units were removed from service in August
2000, after start-up of a new Co-Gen. plant on-site. They
have been maintained as spare equipment since that time. At
this point we're interested in selling both units
Both units are installed inside of a building, and were run
continuously at approx. full load for most of their life.
They were performing well when removed from service. Both
machines have approx. 270,000 hours run-time, with the
turbine blade-sets having less (cycled 3 blade-sets through
the 2 machines). See "Turbine Blade History" at
end of fact sheet. One machine
has 18,500 hours run-time since overhaul, and the other has
27,400 hours.
