GE condensing, 10 stage turbine rated 2,500 kW, 3,600 rpm, designed for inlet steam
conditions of 125 PSIG - 500 degree FTT, 4” Hg. back pressure, with automatic
extraction pressure of 7 PSIG at 6th stage shell.
Direct-connected, air cooled, synchronous generator, rated 3,125 kV 0.8 PF, 3 phase, 60
Hz. 2,400 volts.
Separate exciter, rated 21 kW, 125 volts.
Worthington 30,000 lb./hr condenser
Some Westinghouse electrical switch gear is included.
The turbine is suitable for conversion, with changes for operation of future throttle
conditions of 600 PSIG, 750 degree FTT.
The unit was manufactured in 1962, and only operated from January 1963 to January
1970 - operating log is available. The unit was inspected and cleaned by GE I 1980 at a
cost of $70,000, and has been in dry storage since that time. The GE inspection report is
available as well as specifications, performance charts, pictures and manuals.
