Scope of Supply
FT4C-3 Power Pac 

1.                  The proposed previously owned, refurbished, liquid fueled, Model FT4C-3 Power Pac Electric Generating Plant consists of one FT4C-3 gas turbine driver, one (1) generator with all the associated ancillary equipment to provide a fully operational power generating unit.  The proposed plant includes the following equipment: 

f.                    One (1) P&WA Model FT4C-3 industrial gas turbine, each including: 

(1)               Operating Controls

(2)               Lubrication System

(3)               Fuel Control and Fuel System

(4)               Starter

(5)               Ignition System

(6)               Water Injection System for NOX Control

(7)               Flexible Coupling

(8)               Mounts and Base

(9)               A CO2 Fire Protection System 

f.                    One (1) synchronous generator, 60 cycle, 3 phase, 13,800 volts, two pole, 3600 rpm, open air-cooled, two sleeve bearing, brackett type, and a 250 VDC, direct connected brushless exciter complete with the following accessories: 

One (1) generator lubrication system consisting of an oil tank, an AC motor-driven oil pump, a DC motor-driven pump for emergency use, two oil pressure switches, an oil-to-air heat exchanger, and an oil level switch. 

Twelve (12) resistance type temperature detectors for monitoring generator stator temperature. 

One (1) set of high oil temperature alarm contacts for each bearing and for oil to bearings.

One (1) set of bearing oil thermometers on generator bearings. 

One (1) set of high air temperature alarm contacts for generator discharge air. 

One (1) set of leveling screws. 

Three (3) current transformers – 4000/5 mounted on generator neutral. 

One (1) generator grounding transformer and resistor.

f.                    One (1) prefabricated 3 phase bus duct assembly, 15 KV, 95 KV B.I.L. to connect generator output terminals to generator circuit breaker. 

f.                    One (1) 15 KV metal clad line up containing the following: 

One (1) generator air circuit breaker. 

Four (4) potential transformers (PT) – Draw-out type. 

Twelve (12) current transformers (CT). 

Three (3) surge capacitators (SC). 

Three (3) lighting arresters (LA). 

One (1) set of space heaters. 

e.         One (1) turbine-generator control switchboard consisting of the following panels: 

                                    Relay protection panel

                                    Auxiliary relay panel

                                    Metering and control panel

                                    Turbine instrument panel

             f.                    One (1) station battery, 125 VDC, 100 ampere-hour.  Type lead calcium. 

            g.         One (1) master terminal board. 

            h.         One (1) new PLC based Control System. 

i.                    One (1) auxiliary power transformer. 

j.                    Six (6) lube oil pressure gages, located on engine base. 

k.                  One (1) motor control center, 600 V, NEMA I enclosure, class II, type C, front accessible, combination circuit breaker type with 110 VAC control circuits including the following: 

One (1) main circuit breaker.

Two (2) free turbine oil cooling fan motor starters.

Four (4) engine oil cooling fan motor starters.

One (1) generator AC oil pump motor starter.

One (1) generator DC emergency backup pump motor starter.

One (1) potential transformer.

One (1) generator space heater contactor.

One (1) AC distribution panel board, multi-circuit.

One (1) DC distribution panel board, multi-circuit.

One (1) lighting transformer.

One (1) generator and switchgear space heater, contactor.

One (1) battery charger, static type. 

l.                    One (1) liquid fuel filter assembly and fuel forwarding system. 

m.                One (1) gas turbine inlet air filter. 

n.                  One (1) air starting system. 

o.                  One (1) fuel filter separator heater contactor. 

p.                  Up to six (6) copies per site, depending on Customer’s requirements of:

                        Additional copies of these manuals can be furnished for an additional price. 

q.                  One (1) training program of two week duration for up to 10 students.
