LM2500 Gas Turbine marine propulsion units for sale. Made by Fiat Aviazione. Model 7LM2500 PB 101. Only 3,500 total running hours. These two units are from a military vessel being dismantled. Extensive Boroscope images and details are available. Nameplate: Rating 2500 3,600 rpm. Installed 1981. The GTs are currently located on board a vessel in South America. GTs have been run on Marine Diesel only. The Power Turbine configuration is 6 stage. These turbines were inspected and maintained by the manufacturer and installed on board as part of major maintenance to be effected to this ship, however, for strategic reasons the Navy decided to decommission this vessel, leaving these turbines in perfect operating conditions but installed on board. The GTs had been subject to Service and Inspection Routines as detailed in document LM2500 GT Monography issued by the manufacturer. A Boroscope inspection was carried out in May 2016 which is available in appendix. Exclusions: The GTs are operating, just missing the MFC that were uninstalled for review by the manufacturer. The storage container is NOT included in the sale. The driven propulsion system is NOT included in the sale. Viewing of GT is strictly by appointment and must be arranged. Customs export duties will apply as appropriate. Owner will invoice the buyer and the GTs will be released when cleared payment is received in full from the buyer. The GTs will be DELIVERED to the buyer under Incoterms 2010 EX- WORKS, South America. All inspection, collection & transportation costs will be for the account of the buyer.
